The boutique hotel unveils a new Green Day Delegate offering

London, 10 September 2012 - Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes is demonstrating its commitment to the environment by introducing a new Green Day package for delegates. Located just a stone’s throw from Baker Street tube station, the hotel’s central location makes it the ideal choice for a sustainable meeting.

Priced from £37.50 per person plus VAT, the Green Day Delegate rate can be booked for a minimum of eight people and includes:
• Main meeting room hire and complimentary WIFI
• Screen and recycled paper flipchart
• Recycled pencils, paper, jugs of tap water and mints for delegates
• Three servings of tea and coffee (fair-trade tea)
• Working sandwich lunch served with still and sparkling water in the Executive Lounge

The four-star boutique hotel has also pledged to support its local Barnardo’s charity shop by donating lost property items each month, offering complimentary room hire for charity events and enrolling its staff, including the Leader of the hotel’s Green Team, Helga Tirk, as volunteer shop assistants.

Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes was recently awarded a Silver level at its first grading from the Green Tourism Business Scheme, the national sustainable tourism certification scheme for the UK, as a result of the hotel’s dedication to sustainability.
